Latin for “rejoice,” Gaudete seeks to create a beauty brand for women who strive after the heart of God. Recognizing that Jesus Christ is the source of our joy!
Our brand motto speaks to the truth that cosmetics, just like everything else, is meant to be used in moderation and should serve to “enhance your beauty gracefully,” so that we, in turn, can serve gracefully in the Body of Christ.
We understand our physical appearance is a God given gift. “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” At the same time recognizing the loveliness that a tasteful makeup look can portray.
We desire to honor the dignity of femininity: being a daughter, sister, mother, and wife. As women growing in virtue, we can rejoice in whatever season of life God has ordained for us. And live for the purpose God has called us.
Meet Claribel
Claribel, the Gaudete founder is a makeup and skincare lover that has worked in the skincare industry as a licensed esthetician for the past five years. Makeup and skincare are her passion! Yet, her first, and most important, role in life is being a faithful Catholic, mother, and wife!
She has been a long time lash-lover but was disappointed in the current lash industry when looking for brands that support her values. She found many brands over-sexualized message and peddling lies about the truth of womanhood, disheartening. After looking long and hard she found no good alternative. So, she started a lash brand of her own. Her brand seeks to go against the stream and is driven by the belief that God is calling her to build something new.
Gaudete is but a small seed planted in the midst of a desert of a crumbling culture, thirsting for goodness.
